Mindful shopping, mindful living

According to Readers Digest in 2020, mindful shopping can play a helpful role in separating "wants" from "needs". Mindful shopping can save us money, assist us in making better choices, help adhere to a budget, feel great about our choices and help reduce debt. Mindful shopping includes tactics like making a shopping list ahead of time and sticking to it. When you are shopping, pick up items and enjoy the way they look, smell and feel. But resist the urge to buy it and instead, enjoy the experience while you are there and put it back. Don't fall for sales. They are intended to lure you to buy things you don't need or didn't plan on buying. If you still like to shop, shop for others and give back. Giving to others is a wonderful way to feel joy and make a difference in the world.
